The Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of Los Angeles’ true treasures. Designed by Frank Gehry, the building is a stunning piece of architecture that’s just as impressive inside as it is outside. The acoustics are phenomenal—every note resonates with clarity, whether you’re listening to the LA Philharmonic or a guest performance. One of my favorite parts of visiting is exploring the beautiful garden on the 3rd floor. It’s a peaceful, artful space that offers a serene escape and incredible views of the city skyline. The combination of world-class music, breathtaking design, and thoughtful outdoor spaces makes every visit unforgettable. Highly recommend to locals and visitors alike!
Absolutely stunning building, both inside and out. The Frank Gehry architecture is a work of art in itself, with those iconic curved steel exteriors that photograph beautifully from every angle. Acoustics inside the hall are phenomenal — sound quality was crystal clear no matter where I was seated. Definitely a must-visit for anyone into architecture or classical music, even just to admire the exterior and gardens. Highly recommend catching a performance if you can.
We drove down from northern California for a weekend getaway and caught a Sunday afternoon concert at the hall. The building itself is absolutely stunning - the way the light hits those stainless steel panels creates this incredible shimmer that changes throughout the day. The acoustics inside were phenomenal, and everyone around us seemed genuinely invested in the performance. Only minor complaint is that parking was a bit of a hassle and prices were steep, but it's worth dealing with for an experience like this.
